Further, people and companies around the world will buy what they need /want regardless of who produces it – so long as they obtain competitive quality and price (= value) – this is essentially the concept of ‘globalization of production’.   These two concepts combined have been changing the world for many years, and will continue to do so at an accelerated pace in the foreseeable future.  Change is ‘it’!   Individually we ‘suffer’ from this phenomenon. We also derive great benefits from it:  innovation, more choices, better prices, increased quality. We do however face a conflict in our roles as employee, customer, and investor.
